Ideathon on Smart Cities

An Ideathon is an event typically to come out with new ideas to solve the given problem. A continuous 8 hours marathon in which a large group of teams come under one roof to innovate new ideas on a given topic.

The Ideathon is based on Smart Cities. Smart City is a near futuristic concept in which ubiquitous smart devices in the city communicate and co-ordinate for smarter mobility, connectivity and co-ordination for public activities.

This Ideathon is open to all students of 1st year, given any branch or stream.

For registrations, give your name in Room no. 310, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering before 4 pm, 23rd September, 2016.

Time: 9 am to 5 pm

New Batch for Java Certification Program

A new batch for Java Certification Program is going to start on 26th September 2016 which will run parallel to Batch 1. The classes will be conducted on Thursday and Friday 5:15 pm onwards.

The department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with International Knowledge Center, Bangalore, has initiated an office in the campus (First Floor, Dr. D. Premachandra Sagar Auditorium) which would provide information to the students who are interested to pursue their higher studies in the US.

In this regard, we will be having an inaugural function of the centre on September 03, 2016 at 11:00 am. The CEO and Founder of International Knowledge Centre Mr. Girish B, will be joining us along with 25 delegates of various US Universities.
